08/07/22 – Packaging Europe have published a feature ‘Can PET-eating enzymes help to solve the plastic waste problem?’ based on a recent interview with our partner from the University of Leipzig, Dr Christian Sonnendecker. The feature describes the enzymatic degradation of PET plastic waste, the challenges of biological recycling and how it fits with other methods, such as mechanical and chemical recycling, plus what the future may hold!
